Contrax-D Köder

Ready-to-use bait (granules) against house mice, Norway rats and roof rats. For use in and around buildings by trained professional users with expertise according to Annex I No. 3 of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance.

Effect
Slow, mostly internal bleeding with the greatest possible exclusion of pain.

Demand
Application rates for use in tamper-resistant bait stations or concealed and equally access-protected in areas inaccessible to children and non-target animals: Application rate for the target organism house mouse: Heavy infestation: max. 50 g bait – Recommended distance between 2 bait points: 1–1.5 meters. Light infestation: max. 50 g bait – Recommended distance between 2 bait points: 2–3 meters. Application rate for the target organisms Norway rat and roof rat: Heavy infestation: max. 200 g bait – Recommended distance between 2 bait points: 4–5 meters. Light infestation: max. 200 g bait – Recommended distance between 2 bait points: 8–10 meters. Details and further information on application conditions: see label / product information. Use is permitted only by trained professional users with expertise according to Annex I No. 3 of the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (as of 29.03.2017), insofar as such expertise is required. Otherwise, the rodenticide may also be used by the trained professional users listed under a) and b): a) Professional users with expertise according to the Plant Protection Products Expertise Ordinance (PflSchSachkV) b) Users with special expertise who can provide evidence (certificate) of participation in training with the following course content: • Behavior and biology of rodents, • Legal basis for the control of rats and mice, • Control of rodents (incl. Integrated Pest Management and resistance management), • Mode of action of rodenticides (especially anticoagulants), • Hazards and risks when using rodenticides for humans and the environment and techniques for risk reduction (especially primary and secondary poisoning of non-target animals and their prevention, handling of PBT/vPvB substances), • Application techniques/procedures and documentation, • Behavior of rats in sewers.
